M/W or T/TH Morning Program: Drop-offs from 6:45-7:00 at the Math Lab door 

M/W and T/TH Afternoon Program: Must be picked up by 4:00 at the gym

Safety is the number one priority for every child.  If you bring your child to school, please follow these procedures to help ensure the safety of not only your child, but all students being dropped off.  

ALL students being dropped off will enter through the front doors.   Please stay in one lane of traffic.  Students will exit cars on the passenger side of the vehicle and onto the sidewalk to enter the building.  There should be no reason for any student to walk in front of any car.  Please do not pull forward until you see your child is safely walking on the sidewalk toward the building.  Adult staff members will be available in the front to greet students, but not to assist students exiting cars.  Students should be ready to exit the cars by themselves.  If your child requires assistance exiting the car, please park in the front parking lot and walk your child across to the front door.  NO CHILD should ever walk across traffic from the parking lot alone!  The drop off line can be long so plan accordingly.  We will not rush the line.

If you need to change the afternoon arrangements for your child, you must call the school before 1:30 to do so. 

We will not call pick up students to the front door until 3:00PM.  Calling students to the front door to avoid the pick up line is very confusing for students in the pickup line.  It distracts them from hearing their name called outside.  Please follow the procedures explained below. If you need to pick up your child early for an appointment, please come before 2:30 PM.

Each student will be issued pick-up tags for the vehicles that will be picking up the child.  The tag must be visible in the vehicle during pick-up time so that we can be assured your child is going with the correct person.  If you need more tags, please get them in the front office.  Those who do not have tags may be required to park---then check in at the office with proper identification.

Students are not dismissed until 2:45 from the gym.  A tardy will be charged if the child leaves before this time.  You may not come into the building during regular pick-up time to get your child.  If your child has an early appointment, please buzz into the office (before 2:30) and your child will be brought to you.  Doctor's excuses for early dismissals will be expected in the office the next school day. All students being picked up will be released from the gym.  Parents are expected to get in the pick-up line and your child will be walked to your car.  Students will not be released from the front door at this time.  If your child has a doctor's appointment, you will want to be in the pick-up line early.  Please adhere to this policy to ensure the safety of all students.

To pick up your child at the end of the day, please remain in your car and park along the right or left lane in front of the building.  Your child will be brought to you.  Flow with the traffic as it moves off of school property. Traffic in the left lane must turn left out of the school driveway.  Traffic in the right lane must turn right out of the school driveway.  Please do not park and come to the gym doors to get your child.  Someone will walk the students down both sides of the pick-up line and to your vehicle.  Please do not leave your vehicle unattended in the pickup line.  Students will be attended by bus duty staff until 3:30 p.m.  All students should be picked up by no later than 3:30 p.m.
