In Tennessee, schools are recognized as a Reward school when they demonstrate high levels of performance and/or improvement in performance. Schools earn Reward status based on their performance on the federal accountability system. A school is recognized as a Reward school when it (1) has an overall school score of 3.1 or higher per federal accountability calculation; and (2) is not identified as a Comprehensive Improvement School, Targeted Support and Improvement School, or Additional Targeted Support and Improvement School
